Fire Brigade Cooperation Protocol Signed Between Salihli OSB and Manisa Metropolitan Municipality
An important cooperation protocol was signed between Salihli Organized Industrial Zone (OSB) and Manisa Metropolitan Municipality in order to provide rapid response to emergencies such as fire, accident and rescue. The protocol aims to provide fire brigade services more effectively.
Fire Station Completed for 8 Million TL
The fire station, which was built by Salihli OSB at a cost of approximately 8 million TL, draws attention with its 925 square meter total usage area and 530 square meter closed area. The facility, whose overriding right of use will be allocated to Manisa Metropolitan Municipality, has a modern infrastructure that will speed up the response to emergencies in the region.
12 Million TL worth of Vehicle and Equipment Support
Salihli OSB provided a total of 12 million TL worth of vehicle support to the fire station, mainly a 24-meter ladder fire truck and a general purpose fire truck with a capacity of 6 tons of water. In addition, within the scope of the protocol, 1 foam tower vehicle and 2 4×4 double-cabin fire brigade pioneer vehicles will also be allocated.
Personnel Support from Metropolitan
Manisa Metropolitan Municipality will provide personnel support for the new fire station. With this cooperation, it is aimed to intervene more quickly and effectively in emergencies that may occur in Salihli and its surrounding industrial facilities and residential areas.
Signing Ceremony was Held with Wide Participation
The protocol was signed at a ceremony held at Salihli OIZ Administrative Building. The ceremony was attended by Manisa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Architect Ferdi Zeyrek, Salihli Mayor Mazlum Nurlu, Salihli OIZ Chairman Muhittin Bilget, Manisa Metropolitan Municipality Deputy Secretaries General Oğuz Murat Pınar and Ali Kılıç, Salihli OIZ Board members, Salihli Chamber of Agriculture President Cem Yalvaç, Salihli Tradesmen and Craftsmen Credit and Surety Cooperative President Erdal Tunca and fire department personnel.
This cooperation is considered an important step for the security of industrial facilities and residential areas in and around Salihli. The protocol aims to improve the quality of fire services in the region.
