Waste Water Treatment Plant
In order to support environmental sustainability in the Salihli Organized Industrial Zone and to ensure the effective management of wastes arising from industrial activities, a project to increase the capacity of the wastewater treatment plant was implemented with an investment of EUR 8 million.
This project aims to expand the wastewater treatment capacity and minimize environmental impact in parallel with the rapidly growing industrial volume of the region. With the capacity increase, our wastewater treatment plant now treats a much larger amount of wastewater on a daily basis, taking an important step towards protecting our water resources and minimizing environmental damage.
The new plant is equipped with advanced technologies and has special designs to ensure energy efficiency and low carbon footprint during wastewater treatment. Thus, industrial activities in the region will be able to continue uninterruptedly and work will be carried out in line with the principles of environmental sustainability.
With this investment, the plant, which currently has a daily wastewater treatment capacity of 8,000 m³, will double its capacity to 16,000 m³/day upon completion of the project.
Salihli Organized Industrial Zone is intended to stand out not only as a production center, but also as an environmentally friendly and sustainable industrial zone. In this way, industrialists in the region are provided with a high-capacity infrastructure and environmental awareness is increased.
