Cesare Karton Teknik was started in 1980 by Ahmet Muhtar CİRİK in Milan, Italy under the name of "Legatoria Cartotecnica - Impressione a Caldo". When Mr. Muhtar started to read an Italian book on the art of bookbinding, he was impressed and decided to start this business. His curiosity and love for his work makes him one of the most sought-after addresses for the repair, maintenance and boxing of the most famous libraries in Italy for their worn-out old books. Over time, he takes boxes made of cardboard to another dimension. The boxes he produces using different materials are met with interest. One day, he listens to the call for investment in Turkey made by the Italian ambassador to Turkey on the Italian Rai Due channel and decides to return to his home country and continue his work. He settled in Yenişakran town of Aliağa and established a small workshop and started production with the materials and machines he brought with him. He continued his work until 1996 by selling his products only to foreign markets. In 1996, he shared his products with visitors for the first time at the Istanbul Interteks fair. Turkey was introduced to this kind of packaging for the first time and great interest was shown.
