Founded in 1996 by Mehmet Demir, a Master Agricultural Engineer, as a family company in Salihli district of Manisa, Sardes has become well-known with its quality specialty products and has opened up to the world in a short time. Combining his knowledge, experience and vision with the fertile soil, cultural heritage and hardworking people of the region, agricultural production is not only a business but also a way of life for our founder Mehmet Demir and his family. His wife Figen Demir takes an active role in management and operations, while the young members of the family are trained with academic education and simultaneous practice that will contribute to the development of the company. Focusing on sun-dried tomato production in the early years, Sardes became one of Turkey's leading producers and exporters by specializing in this product at every stage from planting to harvesting, from production to packaging, in accordance with the international market's quality standards, taste, intended use and consumption habits varying by country and region. Over the years, Sardes has diversified in both product and processing methods with the same vision and added new flavors to its product range. Sardes has taken its reliable place in the world market for both food industries - restaurant / catering and retail consumption with its pepper varieties (roasted, pickled, marinated, marinated, canned, IQF), grilled vegetables, products in oil, sauces, salads and Bruschetta varieties, leaf rolls, capers and many organic certified product types and packaging. Our company regularly participates in food fairs abroad in order to represent and promote at international level and to cooperate and exchange information with worldwide representatives of the sector.
