'Water saving commission' was established in Salihli Organized Industrial Zone to draw attention to the importance of water saving.

In the statement made about the work of the commission, "We need to work on water saving in order to make our resources sustainable. For this reason, a 'Water Saving Commission' consisting of 10 companies that consume the most water in our region and regional directorate personnel was established and a presentation was made to the commission members by our Environmental Engineer Emrah Dal. The purpose of establishing this commission is to transfer good examples to each other with common sense, to minimize the need for water in our region, to measure our water footprint related to the activities we carry out in a systematic approach and to work towards more efficient use of water.
