The 3rd Salihli - Sart Money Congress was held
In the ancient city of Sardes, the capital of the Lydian Kingdom, known as the place where the first money was printed in the world, this important place, which pioneered the revival of commercial life in history, hosted the III Salihli-Sart Monetary Congress. The congress, organized with the main theme of "Monetary and Fiscal Policies under Inflationary Pressure", was held in the Roman Gymnasium building.
In addition to Salihli Organized Industrial Zone (OSB) Chairman Muhittin Bilget and OSB Director Çağrı Duygu, representatives from Manisa Celal Bayar University Salihli Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Salihli Municipality, Provincial Directorate of Culture and Tourism, Salihli Chamber of Commerce and Salihli Tradesmen and Craftsmen Credit and Surety Cooperative participated in the congress.
The congress started with an opening ceremony in front of the Gymnasium in the historical city of Sardes, emphasizing the historical importance of this important place where the Lydian Kingdom first printed money. During the congress, various presentations were made on the impact of inflationary pressures on monetary and fiscal policies and experts in their fields shared their views.
Salihli OSB Chairman Muhittin Bilget was presented a plaque for his contributions to the congress. The congress was held with the wide participation of academics, public institutions and representatives of the business world.
